CHEESE-STUFFED BREAD ROLL

Giới thiệu

Nguyên liệu
Ingredients for the bread dough:
  • 500 g of white flour
  • 500 g of whole wheat flour
  • 510 g of fresh milk
  • 200 g of filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 g of fresh yeast or 8 g of dry yeast for bread

Ingredients for the seasoning and filling:
  • 400 g of pizza mozzarella (traditional Italian fresh mozzarella is very moist, but you can also use another type of non-stringy cheese that has a delicious flavor and is easily available at the supermarket)
  • Tomato sauce + a pinch of salt + extra virgin olive oil + oregano.
Cách làm

  • Put all the ingredients for the bread dough (EXCEPT THE YEAST, which should be added at the end) into a bowl and mix well. Knead for 10 minutes until you have a uniform dough.
  • Add the yeast and knead for another 5 minutes. The dough will become elastic as shown in the video.
  • Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rest until it doubles or triples in size.
  • Take the dough and punch it down with your fists.
  • Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5 mm. Take a piece of mozzarella that is the size of a finger and as long as a strip of dough. Using a knife or a pasta cutter, cut long strips as shown in the video.
  • Roll up the dough, folding the edges to prevent it from opening up.
  • Place the dough on a baking tray lined with non-stick parchment paper. Allow the dough to rest until it has expanded to about 70% of its size, then place it in the preheated oven at the highest temperature setting. After 7 minutes, reduce the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius. Continue baking until the bread is golden brown.
  • Prepare the sauce to season the bread: finely chop the garlic and parsley, and mix them with extra virgin olive oil.
  • When the bread is cooked and still hot, remove it from the oven and brush the surface with oil.
  • The cheese should be stretchy when serving the bread hot. If preparing in advance and waiting for guests to arrive, it is advisable to reheat the bread in the oven to ensure that the cheese melts nicely. :)
  • I wish everyone great success!
